Opmega holds a conference on innovation and sustainability in the cultivation of mussels
Vilagarcía de Arousa, 15 May 2025.- Galician Mussel Producers Organisation (Opmega) is organising this Friday 16 May, in the Assembly Hall of the Mexillón de Galicia Building (Vilagarcía de Arousa), the conference ‘Innovation and sustainability in mussel farming: keys for the future of the sector’.
The event will bring together experts in marine research, food technology and blue economy, as well as institutional representatives, to address the main challenges and opportunities of a key sector for Galicia.
The programme includes round tables, an institutional dialogue, recognition of the work of a mussel producer and a final tasting of Opmega mussels.
