Production and Marketing Plan

The Production and Marketing Plans are an innovative instrument that allows collective management of the activities of the producers and thanks to which organizations can take appropriate measures to achieve their objectives and contribute to the sustainability of fishing activities.

OPMEGA (OPP-18) has defined a series of strategic axes developed annually through concrete actions, established in accordance with the Recommendation of March 3, 2014 regarding the establishment and application of Production and Marketing Plans:

2016 Annuity:

Measure 1.– Certificate under the protection of the PDO Mexillón de Galicia.

Measure 2.- Campaign to improve the mussel of other substitute offers and a better commercial position.

Measure 3.- Commercial prospecting for various purposes.

Measure 5.- Analytical laboratory agreement.

Measure 6.- Implementation of ICT tools.

Measure 7.- Prepared food preparation research project.

Measure 12.- Dynamic website.

2017 Annuity:

Measure 1.– Certificate under the Protected Designation of Origin “Mexillón de Galicia”.

Measure 2.- Campaign to improve the mussel of other substitute offers and a better commercial position.

2018 Annuity:

Measure 2.– Strategy development.

Measure 11.- Project for the detection of enteric infectious viruses in mollusks, sometimes a 90/90 treatment.

2019 Annuity:

Measure 1.– Study on possible ways of taking advantage of overwork.

Measure 2.– Congress of Organization of Fisheries Producers.

Measure 4.– Implementation of ICT tools.

Measure 5.– Certificate under the Protected Designation of Origin “Mexillón de Galicia”.

Measure 6.- MSC Certification.

Measure 7.– Galician Mussel Conference.

Measure 8.- Creation of a foreign trade department.

Measure 9.– Definition of new ways of conversion.
