Opmega participates in Seafood Expo Global 2022

Opmega participates in the Seafood Expo Global 2022 in Barcelona, ​​it is the first foray into an international event and its objective is to give visibility to the work of associates and build commercial bridges with suppliers from all markets, thanks to a top quality product and the added value given by the recently opened processing plant. A delegation made up of the president, vice president and secretary of Opmega, as well as a person linked to the commercial department, will be at the organization’s stand, where there will be occasional tastings of different dishes made with mussels and created for the occasion by the chef by Boiro Miguel Mosteiro.Among the many visitors, we had the pleasure of receiving the visit of the general secretary of fisheries, Alicia Villauríz Iglesias, and the general director of fisheries and aquaculture management, Ignacio Gandarias Serrano, who enjoyed a brief talk with the president, Ricardo Herbón. Both leaders also had the opportunity to taste different ways of preparing mussels. They were also able to observe the design of the stand, a space where reference is made to the natural environment where the mussel producers work, the “batea” is made up of wooden sheets and with a porthole through which the sea can be guessed from Galicia.
